This beautiful bangle bracelet was made in France in the late 19th Century (Victorian Era). It is made of 18K rose gold. The upper part holds a round element.
The central motif is designed as a snow flake star, topped with silver, flanked by naturalistic scrolls - all set with diamonds. The central diamond is an Old European Cut, 10 points (0.10ct), G-H in color and eye clean VS clarity. All the other 22 diamonds are rose cut diamonds weighting together approximately 0.50ct.
0.60 total diamond carat weight. Diameter of top element: 13/16 (2.12cm).Bracelet width (on sides and bottom): 5/16 (82mm). Inside measurements: just over 2 1/4" X 1 7/8" (5.8X4.8cm). Inner circumference when closed: approx. 6 3/4 (17cm) (for a small to medium wrist). The clasp's latch is marked with the French gold mark guarantee Rhinoceros head and a maker's mark (hard to read H M or H K). Excellent overall condition, apart from a couple of tiny shallow dings (hardly noticed) and the fact that the safety chain was probably removed at some point but the clasp works perfectly and is very very strong. Any "dirty stains" sometimes seen in the photos are either reflections or patinated points the bracelet is all shiny gold!
